“Carrie, you have an amazing way of helping me sort through all of my ideas and turn them into something productive and focused.   You used techniques that help me to zero in on what is most important so I can have a clear vision of where I am where I want to go and then gave me tools to plan out how to achieve it.”  Rhonda Clure

The Arboresque Philosophy

Helping your business concept take root and then thrive is the very essence of The Arboresque Philosophy. Spontaneity is fun and exhilarating, and launching any type of endeavor or undertaking a new project requires focused attention and organized planning as well.

I believe we tend to operate within a five-phased cycle of perspective, planning, preparation, performance, and persistence.  Think of your current situation – you’ve probably got any number of projects going on that are in one or more of these phases.

Perspective

Stream ImageHow do you know you picked the right path or needed to take a detour along the way?  It’s all about taking time to gain a little perspective along the way.  Consistency is so important for virtually every aspect of your business – and it’s also important to evaluate what’s working and what’s not so that you can make necessary adjustments.

Planning

Let’s face it, most plans are just guesstimates; however, it’s important to have an idea of the path you want to follow.  Having a direction in mind helps you determine what preparation is needed in order for you to determine what success will look like for you.

Preparation

Once the path is established, it’s time to prepare it so that we can begin our travels.  Are there obstacles in the way (knowledge or tools you don’t currently have in place) or landmarks you know you need to see along the way.

Performance

The path is identified and cleared – now it’s time to travel!  This is where you put your ideas, plans and tools in motion and “work your business”.  For most of us this means the actual marketing (including finding and communicating with your potential customers) and selling of our products/services along with the administrative tasks involved.

Persistence

Now that you've established ways to work that are best for you, the key is consistency and persistence. Here's where it's important to have a great support system in place to assist you in being accountable.
